The Deck Expansion in Grand Haven, MI

For this successful project, the homeowner wanted to remove their existing wood deck into building a larger one in its place. They also wanted to change the stairs to have a 5” riser height for easier access. Additionally, they needed a new railing with aluminum spindles to enhance safety and aesthetics.

By choosing treated lumber for the expanded deck, they can enjoy not only a beautiful and durable structure, but also benefit from its resistance of rotting and decay. This way, they can enjoy a more spacious and accessible outdoor area, providing a safe and inviting environment for the homeowner and their guests while ensuring the long-term durability and low maintenance deck.

Customer is rehabbing this home. We added front porch handrail and lattice
work in treated material. We then painted the entire house on a dark
